Siap-siap berebut username di facebook

Kurang dari 2 hari dan 2 jam lagi sejak gambar diatas saya capture (saya capture pada hari kamis, 11 Juni 2009 jam 9 pagi) atau tepatnya hari Sabtu, 13 Juni 2009 nanti, pengguna facebook dipastikan akan berebut username yang paling disukainya. Bila di dunia ini ada ribuan pengguna facebook yang namanya mungkin sama, maka siapa cepat tentu dia akan berpeluang dapat username yang paling cocok, tapi bila terlambat bisa jadi akan kebagian username yang tidak menarik bahkan terdengar aneh.

Saya sendiri berharap bisa kebagian username : erwin.mulyadi atau erwinmul saja. Bagaimana dengan anda?

What is a Facebook username?

You can personalize your Facebook URL (web address) by selecting a unique username. It will appear in the location bar of your browser after "http://www.facebook.com/" when you view your profile.

My username was not available.

You may not be able to claim a username for several reasons. Usernames can only contain alphanumeric characters (A-Z, 0-9) or a period ("."), for example -- john.smith55. Usernames also must be at least 5 characters long. Usernames are not case sensitive. Facebook also prevents certain words from being included in usernames. It is not possible to copy a username that someone else has already claimed.

If Facebook has indicated that your username cannot be claimed, you will need to select a different one. You will see a green checkmark indicating that a potential username is available before you actually claim it.

Do I need to adjust my privacy settings to account for my new username?

No. Your username will adhere to the privacy settings you created for your profile.
